Mardi Gras Gala Nets Over $260,000 to Support NH Residents in Need

The vibrant spirit and charm of New Orleans came alive in Manchester on February 22 as the community gathered for the 19th Annual Mardi Gras Gala. Hosted by Catholic Charities NH, the event netted over $260,000 to bring stability and lasting change to New Hampshire residents facing hardships and challenging life situations.

The festive evening was filled with attendees adorning Mardi Gras beads, savoring Cajun cuisine, enjoying entertainment, and dancing the night away. A silent and live auction featured a wide range of coveted items, including front-row Celtics tickets and exclusive travel packages, such as trips to Belize, Rome, and Tuscany.

Mardi Gras proceeds will directly support Catholic Charities NH programs that address poverty, financial despair, mental health, homelessness, unsafe environments for children, isolation among seniors and other key issues impacting communities across New Hampshire.

“Mardi Gras is a celebration of our mission to bring healing, comfort, and empowerment to our New Hampshire neighbors in need,” said Tom Blonski, president and CEO of Catholic Charities NH. “It’s powerful to see so many people united by a commitment to giving back in an inspiring and enjoyable way. We are immensely grateful to our sponsors, supporters, and attendees for creating countless opportunities for those in crisis to build the hopeful, bright futures they deserve.”

The 2025 Mardi Gras Gala was made possible through the generous support of our community and sponsors, including our presenting sponsor, CGI Business Solutions.

In 2026, Mardi Gras will step aside, making way for a brand-new event – the Valentine’s Day Masquerade Ball. This exciting new event is set to take place on February 14, 2026, in Manchester, with all proceeds benefiting Catholic Charities NH.
