Building Resilience in the Face of Emotional Pain
Our goal is to reduce the number of individuals in New Hampshire who are struggling with mental illness or challenges by making mental health counseling services more accessible, cost-effective and judgement-free throughout the state.
Thousands of individuals battle depression, anxiety, grief, stress, addiction, and marital and relationship issues on a daily basis, but learning the skills necessary to better cope with life’s challenges can greatly reduce these burdens and improve their overall quality of life.
Why This Matters
-
Mental health issues are becoming more widespread, especially during these difficult times. Here in NH, 57,000 adults have a serious mental illness.
-
Accessing proper mental health counseling can be difficult for many people, due to a lack of affordable providers or the stigma surrounding mental health.
-
Unaddressed mental health issues negatively affect all aspects of life, including overall social, physical and emotional wellness.
Our Response
Flexible mental health counseling sessions – in-person or online counseling sessions – make it easier for individuals to access the services they need.
Through donor support, we are able to offer a sliding fee scale, providing more individuals and families with access to affordable mental health counseling, regardless of their financial limitations.
A team of compassionate, non-judgmental and caring mental health professionals, who bring years of experience supporting various life challenges and struggles.
Results & Impact
Through our mental health counseling services, more individuals are able to better cope with difficult situations – such as the loss of a loved one, sudden life changes, relationship issues or unexpected challenges – while gaining the ability to become more resilient moving forward.
