Giving Tuesday

Provide Food for NH Seniors Facing Hunger

Help Feed Homebound Seniors

One NH senior going to bed hungry is too many. But the sad reality is that more than 8,000 Granite State seniors face this every day – with many more at risk of joining them.

This Giving Tuesday, you can ensure that at least 100 homebound seniors don’t wake up worrying about where their next meal will come from.

Rising food prices – up 25% over the last five years – has made it harder for New Hampshire’s seniors to make ends meet. Too many struggle to access enough food, afford medication or pay their heating bills with the cold winter approaching. Join us in easing the burden for your neighbors. Your gift will provide monthly grocery deliveries, giving seniors life-sustaining nutrition and the financial breathing room to afford other vital essentials and maintain a life of dignity.

How You Can Help

Our goal is to raise $24,000, which will provide 100 seniors with monthly food deliveries for a full year. All funds raised will be used to provide grocery deliveries for seniors in Greater Manchester and Greater Nashua through the CareGivers’ Caring Cupboard.

All gifts are greatly appreciated and you can make a difference this year by sponsoring a senior, making a financial contribution or volunteering.

A gift of $240, or $20 per month, provides monthly grocery deliveries for one homebound senior for a year.

Become a Caring Cupboard volunteer and deliver groceries to appreciative seniors! Volunteer opportunities offer flexibility that fits your schedule.

Your Gift Changes Lives in Many Ways

Enhancing Food Security

Because you’re providing better access to food, Janine can feel a huge sense of relief, knowing she will have enough food for the next year and won’t have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.

Easing Their Financial Burden

Your gift of monthly food deliveries provides Elaine with relief from making difficult financial choices. Living on a limited income, she will no longer face the tough decision between having enough food or affording her vital medical prescriptions.

Uplifting Quality of Life

Your support means that when our volunteer, Dan, arrives with groceries, Mary can shed the heavy burden of uncertainty and hunger, and know she’s not alone – that compassionate individuals like you truly care.
